Ido Portal Inspired Movement Coach

After 10 years of rugby union, weight lifting and athletics I decided to pursue high-end physical skills.
For the past four years I have practiced hand-balancing, loaded mobility, gymnastics strength training and floreio capoeira.
I teach a minimalist practice that provides individuals with a skillset that allows them to excel further in whichever physical discipline they decide to pursue.
Ditch the bullshit; processed foods, sugar, poor sleep schedules, lazy habits, unnecessary phone usage. practice what you know you should, and stick to it; get the blood pumping daily, meditate, eat clean, drink lots of water, read, stretch, do martial arts, and sleep hard.
Training under the Ido Portal Method and being coached by John Sapinoso as an online student has been one of the most transformative practices I have ever engaged in. This shifted my perspective not only on what a high-quality physical practice is, but also how to engage with educational material and learn proficiently.
A physical practice that teaches you what mental and physical values you need to hone in order to become more of a warrior.
Developing a variety of high-level hand-balancing skills takes a lot of work, time, and patience. Let go of the ego and the ‘short-cut’ mentality, then you will find a deeply rewarding practice that teaches you to learn, balance, bend and focus, all the while teaching you the art of humility.
I do the session with you, I don’t believe in standing around while you’re working. I set the pace and you follow, we bleed together.
From my perspective, I look for high-level individuals practicing seriously and savagely, for pure movement in Sydney, they are rare. For specific disciplines such as Muay Thai, BJJ, climbing, stretching & mobility, tricking/acrobatics, calisthenics there are countless freaks and legends in Sydney that I would be/ am honoured to train with.
Tom Emmerson, Spencer Scutt, and Kit Laughlin have been three teachers that have been the most influential on the way I have developed my philosophy behind training. John Sapinoso and Ido Portal are the teachers that I have gained the most knowledge from.
Students that I practice with will up their physical and intellectual game. My goal with practice is to share what I have found to be effective strategies in order to attain specific skill sets, this extends beyond physical training.
Individuals I practice with are those who are willing to dedicate serious amounts of time and energy into their training, to the extent of a semi-professional athlete. This movement practice is a tool I am using to work towards achieving specific long term goals that are outside of the movement practice entirely. Students articulate a long term goal and join me to use these physical tools to develop a physical capacity and skill set that is a result of being pushed to their absolute limit.
Prepare for war.
